After my visit to Morocco, I began to think of how I could help the children with Cerebral Palsy. I decided to put together communication boards similar to the one I was using before my Mercury Computer Device. It had to be a very basic design since their conception of the children with Cerebral Palsy isn't that they can't think on their own. "No mind", is what one teacher had said to me. I worked with a child that was around 7 years old, and after an hour he was pointing to pictures of eyes, nose, and mouth, and then to those areas on his face. Renfro Industries, Terrell, Texas was instrumental in putting these together for me.
