I am 18 years old majoring in education/computer science. I plan on teaching high school level courses while maintaining
my current free lance web designing. I have been making web pages professionally for local companies,
artists, and business since the age of 16. Working on this project with Candi has helped me realize that
people with disabilities are just as normal as you and me.
At the age of 13, I was introduced to the computer in Corpus Christi.
It opened my eyes to the world and changed everything for me.
I thought, "I can do this." So, I taught myself to use the computer by typing with my chin one letter at a time.
Computers are an educational tool and it continues to be another way of communication for me. It saved my life.
Working on designing this Web Site will help me with my aspirations in Computer Sciences.
It has meant a great deal to me to work with my classmates on this project.
I am a single mother of 3 children. I previously worked for 10 years as an Ambulance EMT-I. After an injury, I was forced
to re-evaluate my career. I now work with a Financial Service Company educating people on how to work toward a debt-free life style.
Trinity Valley Community College has offered me the opportunity to pursue additional education relative to my current job.
Working with Candi has helped me to understand the disability world much better. She is an inspiration to all of us, and
I have enjoyed helping design this Web Site.
I am an 18 year old Kaufman resident, currently enrolled in Trinity Valley Community College Computer Sciences course. My first Web Design
project was in my senior year at Kaufman High School. My fascination with computers started when I was in 5th grade. I enjoy finding and
solving problems related to the computer. Computer related tasks have always come easy and naturally to me.
